Carpenter Bee
Carpenter bees are large bees. They are heavy-bodied and metallic blue-black with green or purple highlights. The bodies are covered with hairs colored bright orange and yellow. Carpenter bees love to build nests inside wood siding or the ends of logs that are used for houses.
